Talk: Mike Wood and Day of .NET ‘08

Cincinnati IT Community, Podcast

Mike Wood

Listen in as Mike Wood talks about the evolution of the .NET community here in Cincinnati as well as this year’s Day of .NET. If you’re a .NET developer in Cincinnati, you should know Mike. And if you don’t, you should get out more often. He currently organizes the Cincinnati .NET User Group - CINNUG - and has played a major part in getting industry leading presenters to address the local community. Mike has also devoted quite a bit of effort organizing this year’s Day of .NET.

Be sure to check out Mike’s blog where .NET developers can find a treasure trove of great information and resources. So get over my cheesy introduction and listen to what Mike has to say!

Andy, thanks for asking me to do this. It was fun. I wanted to point out that there are a lot of people helping me out with CINNUG and the Central Ohio Day of .Net. People like Nino Benvenuti and Dan Hounshell with CINNUG and Jim Holmes, Carey Payette, Bob Sledge and Justin Kohnen with the Day of .NET. There are a lot of people putting in time to help create a community in the Cincinnati area. If you aren’t a member of that community then please, come out and check out the Day of .NET or a User Group meeting (http://www.cinnug.org). We’d love to meet you.

Great idea, Andy. Thanks Mike for giving a little background on CINNUG and a preview of CODODN. This way I won’t need to bug you at the CINNUG meeting… at least not about that stuff! :)
